Elizabeth Evans worked Elizabeth is especially drawn to voice-driven fiction and narrative non-fiction in unfamiliar or exotic settings. She knows she's found a good project when she finds herself rereading a sentence two or three times, savoring its sounds and images. Special interests include stories set abroad, especially in Africa and Eastern Europe, magical realism, environmental issues, opera and fishing. She does not handle children's or young adult books, poetry or screenplays. Elizabeth graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hamilton College with a B.A. in English Literature. She enjoys working closely with her authors to hone their writing skills and fine-tune their manuscripts. Elizabeth interned at Zyzzyva Magazine before beginning her M.F.A. graduate program at the University of San Francisco. She completed her M.F.A. in 2006 and continues to work on her first novel.
